Over very many years of coaching I have had a number of golfers including club pro's who have consulted me. The correlation between the sports is uncanny. As long as it does not become too bogged down in admin. this is a fine plan. F.

      how so?
my obversations have led me to believe that its just the issues of spherical phyics and hand-eye coordination (hitting/striking at what you are looking at) bits only.

the landscape and weather variables make both very different...

Well well James how nice to see you on here again. As I know nothing of spherical phyics(sic) I am not qualified to comment, however an accurate quote from a world record holder endorsing my remarks is both flattering and a nice Xmas surprise!!!. Happy new year. F.

Great to hear from you again too Frank. You know far, far more than I about cue sports & will always bow down to your superior knowledge. I just say it as I see it !

I hope jonnylovessn8ker buys 'The Inner Game of Golf' as I think it will be a real eye opener for him & will probably take his game to a whole new dimension.

Hope that you & the wife are both keeping well, it would be good to catch up again in 2012.

I'm personally delighted to hear this news, being a member of the PGA myself as well as a keen amateur snooker player! Giving golf lessons is obviously a huge part of my job and provides the majority of my salary, but a lot of people approach me for snooker advice too; the knowledge i share with these people has mostly been gathered off this site, mostly from the likes of Terry Davidson! I must say however, in terms of technique and coaching, there are many parallels between the two games. Far too many parallels in fact to list, including both physical and mental aspects. It seems to me that a lot of good golfers are good snooker players and vice versa, not all obviously but quite a few, i personally don't think this is a coincedence!
