  • Table went in today, a very big thank you to the lads from Break Away who came and fitted it. Got the pockets templated, against the fitters advice as the falls on the slate had been extended into the pocket to make the table play harder but I love them, not really that hard but I have got used to a tight table over the last year, so it wasn't such a shock. Number ten cloth on the bed and 6811 gold on the cushions. Steel blocks play great.
Anyone thinking of doing this , or halfway through it, push on, it's well well worth it.

Honestly Steve I've got about a thousand on my phone, I will try to get some up.

          • Sounds great ,get plenty of pics up soon , does the table take a hard shot down the cushion , clean with out rattling .
You will find it takes a bit of time for the new rubber to bed in and get up to speed .Can’t believe it’s gone up that fast and the tables in already .Really pleased for you .

            • Stumbled across this today on YouTube, quite a useful looking practice facility. Let me know what you think

Looks like a good solution to lack of space. Personally, I'd probably go for a 10 foot table, but this setup would be better for someone who plays more seriously.

                  • Yes it’s a great smaller space solution to practice, I noticed watching some of his video content that he plays shots you would need a rest for normally. Probably a better idea to still use the rest so it’s more realistic.

id Mark some baulk spots lightly down the black end so you can practice the brown to blue shot as well.
