            I found it very difficult to view. I wonder if anyone thought as I did that a shot was played with the butt of the cue. If this is the case it is surely a foul, unless of course in deference to the history of our game strokes made be played in this manner in deference to the ladies decorum

              True.. the rules do state the "tip" of the cue must be used..

              6. Stroke
              (a) A stroke is made when the striker strikes the cue-ball with the tip of the cue.


              So, she'd have been fine if she turned the cue around so the tip made contact..

                Emma turned the cue around and the stream was bad because the laptop was in the process of,breaking. I swapped it out with another by the 2nd frame. Hope the rest was ok. HD footage of the whole final will be processed and posted soon.
