I heard Neil Robertson made 2 consecutive maximums in an exhibition match in Australia.

I think that is wrong actually because on wikipedia it says his highest break is 145. It does say that he got 3 centuries in one match though.

I think ADR meant in an exhibition match or practise
              Highest Break Practice : 96
              Highest Break Match : 87 (Previous 85)

I stopped playing since November 2012
Picked my cue up again since mid-way 2014

A couple of years ago - im sure that Mark King and Joe Jogia made maximums in the same match in a minor event....maybe someone can clarify this?

Steve Lee once made 3 consecutive 147s in practice - against Frank Adamson I believe.

In 1997, Sean Storey made 2 147s - not in the same match - in a one day pro-am tournament.

I heard stephen lee made 3 maximums in a row in a practice game. Also know Peter Ebdon and Jimmy white have achieved 2 maximums in exhibition matches. Jimmy White has a habit of making maximums in exhibitions.

In exhibition it has been done. In Eastbourne many years ago Peter Ebdon made Back to back 147,s in one of my shows and Ian McCulloch has definatly done two in one night in public exhibition, and in another of my shows made consecutive breaks of 96, followed by totals of 140, 144 and 147!!!! before the first interval. I believe John Parrot has also done twoo maxis in public.

I think some of the closest evern in an official match was when Ebdon and Carter played in the 2008 WC quarter finals. Ebdon broke down on 120 or 122 and then Carter made his 147 in the next frame.

I´ve seen some rumours that Hendry stopped counting at 500.

I saw an interview with Robertson last year where he told that he had made app. 50 in practice.

Was that before or after his bar order? LOL. Good player, great character tho! I'm getting old.

I heard that as well. I can't imagine anyone other than Hendry making the most. His consistency and drive for perfection (in his younger days) would have meant he would be hungry to make more than anyone else. He's shown that he wants to be top of all stats as once Ronnie edged ahead of him in terms of televised maximums 8-7, Hendry made 2 to go back into the lead. He never used to seem that bothered about them, he just wanted the frame wrapped up in one visit, and if the chance of a max came, great. Now he looks like he is actively looking to make them.
As a guess to who is second, I suppose Willie Thorne would be there or thereabouts, but I also bet players such as Ronnie and John Higgins are pretty near Willie's total.
