Just proves what i've always suspected: People seeking to validate their own prejudices do so by comparing the best example of one discipline with the worst example of another.

The fact is, robbo was a great pool player long before he was a great snooker player, and would be great at any cue sport, given time. Chinese 8 ball is far closer to snooker than it is to american pool. It is only natural snooker players should have success in it - but only the very good ones.
    here we go again
    In your dreams sunshine.

But where ignorance exists, there will be those prepared to end it.

        Pull pin,throw grenade and wait.........
It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Apparently Appleton tried to hug Selby afterwards and Selby pulled away, haven't seen it but if its true it shows a lack of class from Selby

How does it show a lack of class? He shook his hand and that's more than enough really. Grown men hugging is like very rarely necessary imo

Selby used to live with Appleton when he hooked up with his current wife I believe ?
