Black caviar is a fine horse but not the best in the world. A horse who has a blend of speed and stamina for me are the best with 1m4 normally the optimum trip to find the best. I think the winner of the arc de triomphe is where you will find the best horse normally. Like frankel it looks like the owners are scared of damaging potential earnings with the threat of blemishes on her record.
