My Dad had one in the early 7's and every time we were driving it was virtually silent, great ride until there was a little squeek which he never found.

For months he looked but eventually cried like a baby and bought a Ford Escort Mexico Sports...........loved his cars.

They look great but actually they are pretty poor cars and at slow speed handle like a bus!

I used to like Aston Martins until ford took over. The vanquish was a nice looking car on the exterior but 90% of the switchgear was shared with a mondeo, that was a way of completely ruining the feeling of the car (brand) for me, I just see them as a poor mans ferrari now when at one point I saw them as equal, I'd rather have a jag nowadays.

I know they are a bit camp but the 500's are beautifully designed, the Arbarth's are pretty rapid too. I did take the diesel version for a test drive a few years back and was impressed with the sophistication of the drive, feels much larger, just the rear passenger and boot space put me off. Great car if you forget about those drawbacks though, 80mpg and zero road tax....

                              Lol. Such a classic.

I'm bored with all the typical expensive cars around , I'd rather rumble round town in one of these, Chevy c10 stepside, low and slow, smiling ear to ear at the sound of the V8.

My Grandad who retired to the Phillipines (obviously never heard of Bulgaria) had a DB9... I assure you... drove lovely from 1mph to 199mph

Insane motor... he said I could have it when he emigrated if when I sold it I forwarded him the cash...

                                I didn't fancy the 8k a year on insurance!
