    John Parris ultimate for sale

Right guys the cue is away to get the joint problem sorted and while it's away he is going to re-finish the cue. Not that anything was wrong with it but it will come back as new. So it's still for sale once I receive it back.
But I will start a new thread about it as this one has run its course.
    Thanks

Yeah funny that as John Parris had the other copy of the receipt and it stated a different price, strange that isnt it Del Boy?

And just for nostalgias sake, the evidence:

^ 5 very obviously changed to an 8 with the heavier ink.

    john parris

I don't usually get involved in eBay discussion threads but in this case I will. I'm not a fan of eBay and I am defiantly not selling cues on it. I like to think we are more professional than that.
Coincidentally, my copy of Receipt No 23453 is for £555.50.

I suppose I should feel flattered that people are prepared to pay £1000+ for one of my cues, but some of these prices do seem high.

    Tell me another one Ivan.

Anyone hear the thumping of footsteps scrambling along the floor? This just in, Fedia has left the thread!

Yeh mate I obviously meant to contact buyer 1st lol, which as you can see from Darrens post above he has and it's all worked out nicely as the guy didn't want it due to the joint being off centre. I'm sure it will sell for good money once the work has been done as long as the listing is good. You are right about the buy it now best offer options they are usually the best way to sell something that you want good money for as it costs a lot to add a reserve to high value items and normal auction can be hit and miss

It's a recession and everyone needs to make money so if Andrei/fedia can make money from buying a JP ultimate at a good price then pay money to send it to John parris to have an SD joint fitted, be retipped & refinished, buy both extensions and a case then sell for a handsome profit there is nothing wrong with that, as ive already mentioned I've bought a few different cues from him with no problems. As for some of the other things I've seen him accused of on this forum (ie doctored receipts) I dont know any of the facts but if they are true then that's another ball game altogether. Anyway thanks Andrei for the cues. Also thanks to Pete.147, mark62 and centurysnooker who are 3 other TSF members I have purchased cues from without any problems and they were all lovely cues. Sorry Darren for highjacking your thread and good luck on the sale. Cheers, Rob
