Another one to throw in the mix; Or a question at least.

What exactly are these?

In a previous thread I notice somebody posted that they use one of these.

Just wondering what it is exactly and what it does. Does the "Bowtie" discussed previously do the same thing (If so, which feature?). Just trying to make out exactly what's going on with it.

Same thing as tip pik, less destructive imo. You can also tap it onto the tip with chalk on the tip and it will force the tip into the holes hopefully helping you grip thecue ball.
