Where can I find oil for my JP cue in London? And what kind of oil? A friend will go in London these days and I need that.
    Thanks!

May I ask why you do not just buy some linseed oil at your local store?

Yes, poolqjunkie is right. A good Linseed Oil, from any homepro store, will do the job well enough

I searched in all dictionaries ”linsead” instead of ”linseed” oil and I didn't found anything. Thats why I didn't know what it means. Sorry!
              Thanks for answers!

all you need is raw linseed oil and white spirit or another thinner.

I personally have found that buffing with wax on a maple shaft after it has been cleaned and polished works quite well in making it smooth. I do not realy like waxing ash though. Sometimes too much wax can make it sticky, especially after it gets dirty.
I have tried also to wipe some epoxy on my maple shaft, and then wipe it out right away, then fine sand it. The epoxy kind of seal the pores of the wood, without making it sticky.
Linseed on maple would not hurt, but it will darken the color.
One advice I would like to give is not to use too much. You should wipe off the excess and let it dry. Check from time to time as the oil sometimes comes back on the surface of the wood after an hour or so, you would then need to wipe it out again.
Raw linseed needs more time to dry. If you want it to be absorbed faster, you can dilute it with a solvent. There are polymerized linseed or boiled linseed you can buy, they dry a bit faster. Danish oil also works.
Linseed is not a varnish--even if you leave a lot on the surface, they will not form a nice hard protection layer. You should let it absorb into the wood, then wipe off the excess, let it dry, and then burnish it.
You can also wet sand with linseed oil if you want to.

I usually use carnuba wax on maple. Never used beeswax so cannot comment.

its a wild guess. but i'd say mastercue oil would be one.

i have used mike's, welsh pool trading's, linseed in the past too
the mastercue oil isnt yellow like all the others. its very light yellow, almost transparent.
i suppose the effect is that it doesnt darken the wood....
