  • Snooker case foam

    Hi all.

Was wondering if someone would be able to help me with something, bought a case on eBay a few days ago and the case arrived this morning, although on putting the cue into the case, I can hear it rattling around.

Is there any other foam available that I could use to stop the cue moving around? I use an old Burwat Champion which is quite old and I obviously dont want it to get damaged.

Here is the eBay link, so you all know what I am talking about.

buy a block of foam and cut out the dimensions of your cue, stick it in and it shouldnt rattle then

its annoying that the 3/4 case of same quality is twice the price!

I don't think I'll risk it after my attempt at building a kitchen cabinet from scratch this week lol

or buy a one piece case dont have the extensions with your 3/4 and leave it in the case complete?

Doesn't fit in the car with anything bigger than 3/4. My 3/4 case is inch perfect fit across the boot of our car. Thats the only reason I didn't buy one of these actually

Would it be this that I would buy?

                            http://www.efoam.co.uk/foamsheets.php

If so what sheet and thickness?

I don't want the cue to move at all lol.
