  • Is there a 3/4 cue case that can hold a 51" section?

Looking for a 3/4 case that can hold a 51" one piece cue internally plus a section for extension.

Anyone know of any off the shelf cases with these dimensions.

I know the cheaper Peradon 3/4 cases are this length but any others e.g. Aluminium or leatherette type?

Thanks for the link. I guess it's an option but would prefer one very close to 51-52" if possible.

Barracuda aluminium cases were 50" internal ,if you take the chalk compartment out of a cue craft you can also fit a 50" shaft in them. These are the longest " internal " measurements for compartments on modern cases, that I know of.Are you sure the Peradon measurements are an internal measurement and that you can definately get a 51" shaft in these cases, manufacturers almost always quote outside diameter, not shaft length.Hope this helps.

These look like the ones made of wood with a vinyl wrap that usually come apart if they are the ones I'm familiar with. Hence looking for a stronger one

Fair enough,if it says it will fit then fine ,I have learned something I didnt know.Have you thought about modifying a one pice aluminium case.If you can source a case that holds two cues, drill the rivets that hold the end caps on,take the end caps off,cut both ends so that the catches remain centered, then replace and re-fix the end caps.If the hinge is a full length, rolled hinge maybe this "could" work ?You could end up with a case that fits perfectly.

Tried the DIY alu case before and I broke the plastic ends that are glued on and ruined the case so wont be trying that again.

Custom case may be an option if I decide to get a custom made premium cue of this specification but not worth it for the cheap cue I need it for.

                I will keep looking.

Hi there, I have a case that will take upto a 52 inch section.
It is a little long for what I need so I would prefer one about 8 inches shorter.
Would be prepared to do a swap if you have a shorter one?
I will upload photos soon if you are interested?
Its a black alluminum one but dosent have locks (not a problem to me).

Sorry don't have one to swap.

Can I ask where you got it from or make and model?

Not sure it came with a cue I brought second hand.
You can have it for £20 + p&p if you want?

I wonder how anyone remove the end caps on alu cases that are glued on. Sounds like a lot of people have done this. How do you keep it intact so you can reuse them again?
