1pc single leather case costs the same as 1pc double?? why

Hi all, been researching for some leather cue cases, and I've come to learn that single and double leather cases cost the same?
Why is that?!

Probably takes exactly the same amount of time to make, only difference being the amount of material used which is probably negligable in the scheme of things

yes i found that, but went for double, and think these cheapest around and great quality.

Yes I saw that one. Does anyone know how the Peradon ones weigh against Green Baize, Stamford, North West ones in terms of weight?

I am sure they are all about the same, sometimes the advert does say how much they weight but not always, except for the North Wales Cases, were Crispian freely admits that his cases are relatively heavy, for strength reasons

correct if anything i would imagine its trickier to make a one piece single than anything else.

I recently bought a peradon 1 piece wide case, and can honestly say its not heavy at all. I added a chalk compartment myself as you dont get one as standard.All in all a quality case for the £75 i paid from Craftsman.

they are not very heavy - equally not very strong - you get what you pay for. logo is a small leather semi circle you can remove if required - they are not made in house.
