your top 3 tips

i dont know if this has been done on this forum but if it has im sorry. with all these snooker tip posts and questions popping up asking for the best tip etc. i was hoping we could create a thread where members could post there top 3 favourite tips.... that way if someone wants to know which is the best/favourite tip, they could just search this thread to see peoples views. i know adr147 create a poll thread looking at commercial sales of tips etc; but hopefully this one can show individuals perfered tips for clarification to new and old members.

il go first anyway:

from all the different tips ive used throught my time in snooker, my top 3 would be

1. Kamui MH
2. close second - Taliesman M
3. distant third - Elk

1. Phoenix SOFT. (if you can find one that doesn't delaminate which isn't easy)
2. Talisman SOFT.
3. Kamui MEDIUM.

What a coincidence, I was thinking of starting a thread about the same last night.

As there are just so many choices available, I've decided to post my top 3 for each type of tip:

Laminated Tips:

1. Phoenix Soft
2. Aurora
3. Talisman soft


Pressed Tips:

1. Magic Black Mastercue
2. Elks (if I find a good one)
3. Pool Baron

Current favourite is the Phoenix soft. Mine didn't delaminate though or yet to anyway... lol, maybe I was lucky.

Had a go with a few others (aurora, BD, Hercules H2) but couldn't get on with aurora and don't like BD or H2. Got a few others to try ou during the close season though (moori, Phoenix M, H2 bentley). I want to try a MW laminated but can't find any
