  • Aramith replacement red ball

Does any one know where I can purchase a genuine replacement red ball for my set of ATC.
2 - 1/16th. I noticed that one of mine has a chip in it.

Hi sberry, I had a look and don't think I will be purchasing from them, the cost of each ball is a rip off. I have purchased genuine replacement white balls for under a £10 I don't see how adding a bit of colour would increase the cost. Incidentally their white ball cost the same as the coloured balls.
Thanks for the tip but I'm sure I can find them cheaper.
        PS
if you brought the whole set in this way it would cost you £399. 52 and that's without a case lol.

My set originally cost me £75 that works out at £3.40 per ball?

Hate to break it to you, but that's an Aramith ball alright but it's not a TC. It will only weigh 129g instead of around 142g that a TC ball weighs. It's probably one of these...

Would it make a noticable difference? I suppose it could upset position slightly...

Depends on the player - I couldn't tolerate one of the balls in my set being of TC's being a non-TC 129g ball no matter which one it was.

Hi gerry, are you just guessing this or did you see the weight, TBH I should have checked it was a TC ball. I will see if I can cancel before they send it out.

                      Aramith Premiers weigh 129g, TC's weigh 142g, that's not a guess.

And although your seller doesn't say it's a Premier in the listing you posted a link to, the box it's in is a Premier box, you can see for yourself if you check the seller's other items as they are selling full sets of Premier balls as well. The box says Aramith Premier on it.

Hi Gerry, this is the ball I ordered, but I suppose the same applies as this does not state whether it is TC or premier.

I have emailed them and ask them to confirm what ball it is. thanks for the heads up I just wasn't thinking straight:eek-new:

It's deffo a Premier as at £4.58 each that would be £100.76 a set with free postage if you bought 22 individual balls, but they are selling sets of TC's for £116.87 + P&P.

I think your right and if you are I think the ad is deliberately misleading, If they don't refund I will just slaugther them on the feed back

It's not misleading at all and you would be completely out of order to "slaughter" them on feedback.

It is absolutely 100% an Aramith 2 1/16 red ball as described in the ad. It never said it was a TC and it's your bad to not know there is more than 1 type of Aramith snooker ball. I knew looking at the pic it wasn't a TC and less than 5mins looking at their other eBay listings confirmed that it's a Premier Aramith ball as far as I'm concerned.
