  • Coutts Tips, any views?

Anyone tried Mr. Dave Coutt's newly invented tips? Thanks in advance.

Very good! Not too much to say except they hold their shape, chalk and grip on the cue ball very consistently and I'd recommend them to anyone who likes a slightly firmer tip that can generate a lot of spin. Put one on your cue and see the fantastic results.

No doubt exactly like wooldridge and a good hard elk, but good to have more choice...

Are they simply just hand-picked good elks?

What about them haha? If you're trying to say that the Coutts tips are really blue diamond plus then you're wrong as they are much softer than Coutts tips from my experience, however they are very good for pool. Why is it people always question the authenticity of everything on here? Looking for some kind of conspiracy or snooker underworld?

You should know by now Willy (I know it's Will lol) that there is a sizeable crew on here who still think the world is flat and any new invention or tweak is heresy ! There is no need for any development of any kind, everyone should be using Elk's etc lol

Past caring about the Will Willy thing anyway haha. People should try things before picking fault.
