Hi there, not sure if this is the right place to post but need some help regarding my ferrule and tip, basically my ferrule is not level so need advice on how to level it down, also does anyone know of a tool which gives you the perfect dome shape, I try and shape my new tips to this way but always make a mess of it. Thanks.

Sandpaper on a flat piece of wood and can keep sanding.

You can get a tweeten cue top sander which is designed to level off ferrules ready for retipping, or the wooden box tip clamp which has an attached file. Best way really though would be to take it to a cue maker/doctor and get the ferrule levelled off properly or a new ferrule fitted
