Just seeing if anybody has bought or used the brunswick blue diamond tip lately, as i have just recived a box and every tip seems to have lines going across the side walls? Like a laminated tip? Not seen this before so just wondering might be fake? Or just the way theyre made nowdays? Any thoughts?

Blue Diamond tip authencity?
Hello Ramon mate, i ended up going against my doubts and re-tipped with one and felt right straight away. Just seemed to look abit different from what ive seen in the past. I use elks usualy but after geting peed off with them everynow and again i turn to bd. Tbh i dont know why so many people hate them so much? I think theyre actualy not a bad tip, similar to a elk but just more firm and better sometimes. Of course all imo..

Yeah , I know what ur talking about !! If I need Sumthing , I send a mail to Andrew ( ADR ). Cus I know I get the real stuff !! Elks are good enough !! if you're lucky to find the good ones !!! once used B Diamond Plus ?? imo, they are much better compared to BD !!! My uncle is a cue collector !! I'm going to ask him ,, he might have a few B Diamond from old times !! (If you're intrested , of crs ) !! He has all kind of stuff from 80's !! The only problem is , he does'nt give it a way to anyone and he does'nt use it either ( crazy old guy ) !!
But we can always give it a try and ask him !! Gonna send him a mail and let u know about it !!

Yes yes thats sounds all to good to me lol. never thought what a old bd from the 80's would be like before but you got me thinking now.. Bd plus's i have used on and off in the past but tbh didnt realy find them to my liking. Dont get me wrong , nice but just not quite my type except for 1 which was great , but only towards the end of its life span which then needed replacing soon after..

Yeah, that is the problem with press tips !! Less consistent comperd to LM tips !!
Heard many good views about MW super tips , although !!
Anyway,, I'm gonna send him a mail and let u know for sure !! Those BD tips from 80's are realy great players if u can find one !! I do'nt play with press tips , so if he has sum of this stuff , i'll send it to you !! No problem !!

I have a pack of nineties blue diamond tips (unfortunately they're all 9mm), and they are good. I got a set of the diamond plus tips for my bigger tips, and they're very similar beasts (although possibly a bit harder and more consistent). I like them.
