  • Top 16 Pro's cue tips

After looking at what make and model if cues the top 16 pro's use I thought I'd ask the same question of what tips they use. I understand this may be a bit more difficult but it's good reading for us guys that don't know. If you know of any I'll quite happily update the table below:

Rank Player Tip Make Description (e.g soft) Tip Size
    1 Mark Selby Kamui
    2 Stuart Bingham Elkmaster
    3 Judd Trump 9.5mm
    4 Shaun Murphy Elkmaster? 8.75mm
    5 Neil Robertson Kamui 8.9mm
    6 John Higgins Kamui 9.8mm
    7 Mark Allen
    8 Ricky Walden
    9 Ding Junhui Titan 9.2mm
    10 Ronnie O' Sullivan Elkmaster 9.4mm
    11 Joe Perry
    12 Marco Fu TSF
    13 Mark Williams Kamui 9.7mm
    14 Barry Hawkins Elkmaster
15 Martin Gould Elkmaster (or Blue Diamond?) Med to Hard 8.5mm
    16 Kyren Wilson

Mark Selby plays with a Kamui and John Higgins too I think? Well looks like it any ways.

Yeah I would think most are Elk but what tips look like and what they are seem difficult to identify after a while.

Didn't Bingham and Gould say they used elk masters in the interviews with Cuesports.

Would like to see a column for diameter of tip, or have it added in the Description part. Also would love to see another thread along similar lines but with cue weights and balance points. Bit of a spec geek here, always find it interesting.

Update the table and put an additional column in for anyone that knows each pro's tip size.
