These are super crystalate balls but they are the ones made by Aramith in Belgium, so are these really TCs? Or premiers or what? If they are TCs just branded under another name, someone could get a real bargain.

    Another ball question

The box looks the same SC used by Aramith.
Supposedly the same phenolic resin as the TCs and Premiers made by Aramith.
Not sure of the weight per ball or what makes them different to the other balls.

Would be interesting to know as sets of these go for between ten and twenty five pound, if they are the same asTCs there are bargains to be had. I might ask the seller to weigh them, see what he says.

Best of luck with them mate, I hope they are the same as TCs, let me know the weights etc of them and how they play. What ever they are they can't be worse than club balls.

Hi,I have a brand new set of these.i can confirm they are aramith, they come with the small aramith TC booklet(can't attach pics)....In fact these are provided to the Chinese players at vics snooker academy.so you got a bargain, providing the balls are correct to the box.

What weight are they Lennon? I noticed they are more expensive than 1gs to buy and that's without the case.

                      Another ball question

interested in the weight of those, it is mentioned in some places that SCs are slightly heavier than TCs but no actual weight (range) is stated.
TCs can be in the range of 139g-144g ish

I have an old set of SC balls 140/141 g would be classed as 1gs nowadays. Are TCs up at 144g Dean? Seems quite high to me.

I have seen 138g and 144g - (not in the same set)

                          My set is 139-142
IIRC Terry D said his set was 141-143

remember that WPBSA does not stipulate any actual weight, only a weight-difference for a set

Cheers Dean, I didn't know that, it's quite a difference to get a set at 138 then another at 144 if they were 1gs,or do they have a set weight?
My set are all 140/141 except the green that's 142.

1g ARE Tournament Champions, they are the same balls, same material made in the same way to the TCs sets. The only difference is that Aramith take a bit longer to match the balls to a 1g range, instead of 3g range.

I even asked Aramith once what weight should TCs (whether 3g or 1g) be and they did not say the max-min they produce, only that TCs 3 or 1g are the same only matched by weight range per set.
