  • Cannon Ye Olde Ash cue

Hi there, i've read the threads about the two B+W Ye Olde Ash cues, which were really interesting. The first generation, made from 19th century ships' timber, sounds amazing.

I have come across the Cannon version of the 'Ye Olde Ash' cue (there's one on ebay at the moment as well Ye Olde Ash 1 Piece Snooker/Pool Cue. | eBay ), and I wondered what the deal was with them?

They look nicely made, but was there anything particular about the ash, or were they just sort of trading on the name...

Would still be grateful for any info that anyone has on the Cannon version of the Ye Olde Ash cue...when they were made, retail price etc etc. Cheers, jim

The Cannon Ye Old Ash Cue was made from approx. mid-80s to approx. mid-90s, priced at £62.95 to £69.95, which was Cannon's mid-range.
Advertised as "mature ash, ebony, handmade"
      Up the TSF! :snooker:
