The #45 cue looks amazing on Jason's site ( that and #25 are my favourites ) . .

I've got a cue on order from Jason, and every time I read these

reviews, time seems to be going by sooo slowly.

From a very very jealous TSF member. :snooker:

I brought Cue Guru 045 of Jason a couple of months ago and have yet to post any comments.
    Specs are-
Triple splice ebony, Tiger maple and Thuya burr.
    Ash shaft.
58 inches long, 9.5mm tip, 29.7mm butt, 18 inch balance point, 17.75 ounces.

The first thing I have to say about the cue is the work and craftsmanship Jason has put into it truly is immaculate, there is not a single fault in splice shapes, lengths or finish. Though Jason did point out a tiny knot/dark mark in part of the tiger maple (Seeing as I have struggled to find this again myself, I guess this shows how much of a perfectionist Jason is). The overall finish really is stunning and more so in person than in pictures.
I have used a few cues but never anything at the higher end of the market, I am also a pretty poor player so limited experience on the feel of different cues.
This cue is without doubt the best cue I have used, although completely different to my previous cue the balance and weight just felt right straight away, it gives a nice clean strike of the cue ball but also has a great feedback, you can really feel the shot, allowing you to get great action on the cue ball with very little effort. I have not found a shot the cue can not play yet (I let the cue down not the other way around).
I live locally to Jason so went and collected the cue from him, Jason showed me some of the other cues he had finished and some more work in progress, all the cues are finished beautifully and I wish I could afford to buy more of them. He's a very knowledgeable guy who clearly has a real passion for producing great cues.

Anyway I'd recommend a Cue Guru cue to anyone, and at his current prices they are still a real bargain.
Thanks Jason for a great cue.

I didnt have to weight them too much (to get to 16.5-17 ounces) and they have a good balance, around 18 inches.
Yeah. I can relate. All my TW cues, have @ 19" butt joint with 25" total splice length.

The ash shaft has loads of arrows which space out towards the ferrule end, I choose it for its stiffness as I wanted to keep the power in the shaft while taking it down to a fairly small 8.5mm ferrule.
Plays very sweet, as an 8 Baller, this is one cue id like to keep
