I was thinking the very same thing ... very nice indeed and I like the slight brown colour in the ebony, gives the black some character.

The picture doesn't do justice to this beauty of a cue. I love this piece of tulipwood. Thanks so much, Andy!

            • Andy , i am obviously not a cue maker but learn a lot from here and admire all the cue makers . Who i believe turn out great cues in terms of looks and playing ability .
In the picture of the cue you put up that showed different coloured fingers , the fingers were a lot longer than the cues that you have just put up here and sold .
Is this due to you changing the way you make your cues as you explained in a previous thread ,that you construct cues differently to other makers . Is this something that you evolved as your knowledge of cue making improves over time ?
Obviously i don't understand the complexity of the cue making procedure .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

              • They will be around the same length, I don't have a set length to aim for i just plane till I get the square at the bottom of the butt around 12mm it usually ends up with about 7 1/2'' long fingers

                • I just like the look of the longer fingers ......I assume this is something that you could ask a cue maker to do ?

Hoping andy can post some pics of the cue if not I will put some up when its in my hands.
