  • Machine spliced blackplate?

I just saw this on ebay.

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HUNT-OBYRN...item20d201ec72

Looks a little suspect to me.

Cue is 100% genuine, I know this coz its mine , I bought it from h&o shop in the elephant & castle I think about 1989/ 1990
It was there off the rack range, I couldn't be bothered to wait for 1 to be made to order
So don't waste any time and get bidding , it's a dam fine cue in pristine condition
It's not been used for about 15 years , stored away in a 1 piece aluminium case

Been having a chat with ADR 147 and apparently its made by gary drage from aeon cues as you say back in the 80's. Not actually a H&O cue at all. I have bought it on Ebay so will see what the future holds for it. You wouldnt have any paperwork with it by any chance Karl?

Should have said "Not actually a H&O made cue at all"

If he went into a cue shop and bought it badged as a H&O, how would he know it was not actually made by them ??? i'm assuming they wouldn't tell you that ???
