I tend to like cues without veneers more but this is a nice combination. Four veneers and splices next up?

Not sure what will be next, but I have a few ideas knocking around. Including 4 secondary palm wood with veneers, and a snakewood blockwork splice with thick green veneer. However it could be a little way off as I have to submit my thesis at the beginning of september which I haven't starting writing yet.

              • Great cue for me as I am not bothered about even chevrons etc and all that.

                Good job on the cue.

                  Specs:
                  • One piece, oil finish with an absolute cracker of a shaft
                  • Stiff flex with three great even arrows towards the ferrule, blank belly for super-smooth cueing
                  • 19" ebony butt with front splice of amboyna burl highlighted with red and curly maple veneers
                  • 58" long
                  • 9.5mm tip, 29.5mm butt
                  • 17.4 oz

After numerous people asked about a butt joint being fitted, I have now added one and re-listed it on ebay.

                          • The next shaft is planed and ready to be spliced. The current plan is to do a full amboyna butt with green veneers. What do you think? Or any design suggestions? Cheers

I suppose its a classic Stevie, but I think i'd rather do something a little more interesting considering I have free licence to do what ever design
