My first cue was Chinese off eBay, cost me the grand total of twenty nine pound, I would still be using it today but the joint came unstuck and I ballsed it up glueing it back together.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

I don't like it drilling a badge hole on the snakewood, one reason is keep it simple, other is avoiding the snakewood cracking.

The Roosevelt cues could consider to be LP top cue. the cue maker is LP's younger brother, one of the well-known cue makers in China.
I helping him to post those pics to the other forum. they cost about 200-400gbp. but I'm not the seller.

I am taking up the game again after 20+ years away and was a good club player back in the day.
My local club has a standard 3bpiece cue for 110 pound but have seen the mark richards ones on ebay around 70 pound
Would like some advice on which to buy
Will be putting an elkmaster tip on no matter what cue i get

Take a look at the Taylor Made cues, SM. They're very good value for money, nice ash and well finished with an Elkmaster tip already in place.

I have bought a number of them - north of 100 - Chinese folk don't tend to be called Mark.
