The price for that early Kirkham made by Roger Bucknall is very good in deed. Snap his hand off. F.

How do you know it's made by Roger Bucknall, it's usually Kevin Muncaster's name that gets attached to early Barracuda's like he made every cue they ever sold! Is there any way of telling?

Quite correct. Kevin was works foreman at Barracuda. Roger was a hugely talented guitar maker supplying his Fylde Guitars to the likes of Chrystal Gayle. He played a bit of pool and was shown a Burwat Champion which he split lengthways to get the idea of construction and weight. His early cues were based on his findings. F.

So he basically designed the Kirkham series, all be it a replica of the BC? Must admit I'd never heard of him, but a mate of mine plays with one of these that was refinished by Kevin, Will see if I can out geek him with this little nugget tonight!
