Is it possible to remove the extension joint and fit it with a more common joint?

I am using the mastercraft cue and its almost impossible to find an extension. Shipping cost is too high if i order from the uk.

If its the long tele extension, you can always try Wiraka and see whether he has stock for his push on extension. Otherwise, you'll have no choice but to order a set from UK. Its cheaper than sending the whole cue back to UK.

The joint can be heated up to melt the glue and a new one fitted. Is it the male on the extension or the female in the butt of cue? be very careful as too much heat will also melt the plastic if its the extension joint.
