    did you see the video? yes its a nice hitter, though the shaft aint picture perfect. its a player at 58.25/9/28/17bp/17.3oz

    Yeah I just wondered as regards the splicing. Looking at say ebony, the wood chart says 50% heavier than ash.

    Sounds like a good idea though. I'll bet you can't wait to get to the table with all those cues. I guess that's the high's and low's when you get one that hit's like a dog but looks good or vica versa.

    not that much, a bit of feel maybe. unless your adding length, weight or taking a lot of meat out of the cue.. its really to get to know the hit before the finishing process

    Does each cue change much when you add the splices? As regards playability that is?

    I wonder if there's a range of standard shots and test you could do and record against each ferrule height and wall thickness to look at the variances........would be interesting to see how they differ.

    See how easy I found lots of work for someone else, I have a gift for it.................don't expect the response to be good!
