It's going to be a buzz and a half when you see someone playing well with a cue you made yourself

yes iv got quite few but im not really looking that far ahead, iv got the odd cue coming through but its the shaft that i will be exclusively focusing on over the summer and finding my own way to kina perfect its preperation. im happy because this is the first i feel i really got down form start to finnish, plus stumbling across some new ways of working

got a few hours in this afternoon an worked into one of the five. i got it down to the the straightest an most accurate octagon i could without distortion

believing that the cue wasnt gonna go anywhere i cut right into it and rounded it off to : 61/31.5/11.5/22bp/13.5oz

    a few more

it depends this is the third cut, but i dont think there going anywhere so i'll go straight into the octagon this week.. these are the 6 of 12 i cut from the same log and from the other 6 only a few moved, even then i got them back. those others should be ready for their final shaping within a few weeks
