I met tom in thailand in september - he is a great guy and he has some fantastic woods and his cues are top class but like most of the worlds makers he is not actually splicing them himself, don't let that put you off though, you would have to go a long way to find a better cue.

Yes, thats one of main things that I have noted whenever i've seen his cues, very interesting wood/patterns. Do they play like Maximus cues do you know Andrew?

It is a long story - the main man at maximus I think is now Asia cues.

Anybody here has any reviews on Tom Classic after using it for sometime? I see this post is a bit old, not sure if anybody is still using Tom Classic cue? If yes, how good is the quality?
Yes I have sold quite a few of these now and have a good stock of them at minute with some very nice woods and designs.
You will go a long way to find a better cue for the money.

sorry for the late reply as i dont come on here very often.

Hi fkhan - sorry to contact you in this way using an old thread, but do you still have some of these tips left? If yes would you sell me some?

Hi Andrew - do you know much about the tips Tom classic cues use? I just bought one on Ebay and love the tip and the cue - it may be one you sold looking at the Ebayers buying history.

                  Thanks

No problem mate, I have maybe 10 each in red and black.
Would be happy to send a few free. The postage is the killer from INDIA to UK though. Just saw, it starts from about 35 quid.

Here are the pics of the tips I have:

Tom currently uses some other tips on his cues if I am not mistaken. I bought mine about 2 years ago.

Ahh, thank you mate, but yes, I have a new Tom cue and it has a blue tip. Its difficult to find out about these tips but I'll try Supphat on his FB contact address. Appreciate the reply.

Yes, he is on FB. Send him the pics of these tips if required, he might still have them for sale and it would be cheaper too.

Ok, thanks Andrew - I noticed the Tom FB page has advised that "Snooker and Pool Scotland" are sole UK distributors now - seems quiet on there though... Thats Darren Lowe isnt it? I'll ping him at his Ebay site and see if he can advise. The tip doesn't look black, more dark sage on the burnish.

                            Cheers.

Yes, but there seems to be a connection as a same cue and description was on FB & DLCustoms on Ebay....
