I have a new cue but the tip is somewhat not there lol.

The top surface of the cue has sort of fluff on it.

Here is a pic of it, now can I sand it down somehow to be a decent tip or do I need to replace it and put a new tip on?

What could I use to shape the cue a bit, sand paper or something else?

    Will appreciate your help.

Check out Adr147's guide to tips and replacing them. Under accesories heading.

What cue did you end up with then?

I got an MX (I think its that) in the end, managed to get it for £27inc postage which was pleased with because like I said, I didn't want to spend over £30. Thanks for all your help during my looking process though.

I'm going to nip it down to Stamford Cuemakers and let them change it just so that I get a good job of it done, they only charge £3 so I'd rather pay that for piece of mind.

I'm happy with the cue, it was just what I was looking for, smooth on the hand etc etc.

I know its not amazing standard but it suits me.

      Cheers
