Nelson Cues?

Hi,

I'm been trying to find a cue that I used to have when I was a kid, I'm ashamed to say I didn't really look after it and it disappeared from the club one day.

It was an ash shaft with an ebony butt and the name plate had a black and white picture of a Nelson like figure with an eye patch.

I've always assumed it was something to do with Nelson, as in Smith and Nelson, cue makers from Leeds.

does anybody else have any information or pictures of pre Smith & Nelson, Nelson cues?

It did have a different badge from that one and I'm only making the assumption it was a Nelson due to the figure o the badge, I'm not sure if this is because I know of the company as I live in the Leeds / Bradford area or whether there really is a link.

seen plenty of g nelson and smith and nelson cues never one with a nelson on it though.
