It certainly gives confidencea friend of mine also played a dozen or so shots including some ridiculous long shots, to his surprise he potted them!
Luckily it's not too dissimilar to my current (old cue now) cue so no nasty surprises.Last edited by jlowap; 30 April 2014, 06:21 AM.

Pool spec is too tip light, for my liking. feels like the cue isn't planted in the vee hand , especially if you shorten the grip
when under a cushion.
Specs are :-
Snooker cue L = 56.25", Butt dia = 30.2, Tip dia = 10.7mm, Weight = 15.26oz ( stamped 16.5 ), Balanced at 17.75"
Pool cue L = 56.0", Butt dia = 31.4, Tip dia = 8.55mm, Weight = 15.55oz ( stamped 17 ), Balanced at 16.25"
Quite a difference in the balance points, which I plan to equalise ( at 17.75" ).
Might get the weights btought back up to the stamped weight as well.

Two Riley Snakewoods find new home ( Perfect combination of Crispian's case , and Les's end protectors ).

I have got a JPU case being made soon and I've got a JPU on order but that will be a couple of years away yet. Also I'm trying to place an order with Dave Coutts for 1 of his hand made numbered cues but he is not always great with his responses to emails which is very similar to most cuemakers, especially Trevor White lol.
Specs of all cues are the same apart from the JPU;
57.5, 9.5-9.6mm, 18oz, 29.5mm butt diameter
JPU specs: 57 1/8, 9.5mm, 18.5oz, 29.5mm butt diameter
