My new cue arrived today
Green Baize C4
Combination Ebony and Snake Wood
4 Real nice splices.
Perfect Chevrons with very straight side grain.
1Peice
18.75 oz
9.5 mm Tip
30 mm Butt
56.3" Length
This cue feels so solid. I also have another Green Baize 3/4 length with same specs but a C2 all Ebony Butt.

I have a new 1 Peice C4 Green Baize on its way. According to Fedex Tracking it will be here on Monday. Custom made to my specs. 56.3", 9.5mm tip, 30mm butt 18,75 oz

i believe snakewood is heavier and denser then ebony, is it not?

From my crafting experience, size to size, ebony is heavier than snakewood (both woods from Brazil). Anyhow, weight also depends on where the woods are from.

Once a cue has warped and then straightened does it have a tendency to want to go back or is it ok from then on.

Some go back a little, most seem to be ok

cheers mate, like shaft on the Newman, you really cant beat the colour of a old cue...you say it was bent, did you straighten it?

My mate can do it no problem, he's a plater by trade, but steel or timber he can straighten it
Looks quite extreme but works every time

jolly nice they look m8 any shaft pictures ...are you planning on getting a ferrule put on the Falkiner cue or just use it as it is?
