  • steel block cushion wood part

hi, cant get flush level the wood part to the steel block parts at the top at installing, old bce westbury. cheers

Mine came out perfect. I applied a thin layer of epoxy to the steel first. I used about 20 clamps to clamp the wood to the steel, making minor adjustments to the top of the steel as I went along.
Let it dry overnight, removed the clamps, and drilled the holes for the screws.

It sounds like you're having trouble aligning the wood part with the steel block on your BCE Westbury. Ensure all components are clean and properly aligned before installation. You might need to adjust or shim the parts to achieve a flush level. Good luck with your repair!
