  • snooker table cover question ~~

    hey guys
i got a full size snooker table in my backyard and theres a room for it
but im trying to find a snooker cover to protect it from dust and the sun as well
do u guys have any recommendations????
    cheers
    MarCo~~

p.s. i also heard that vinyl covers are not good as they dont let the cloth "breathe" which causes insects to eat the cloth.... <---- from some snooker shop dude

Now there's an unusual question. I have my snooker table covered by my house and insects aren't a big problem here in Canada. I do have a plastic cover for the table to keep the dust off but I'm not sure that will help your situation.

It must be nice living in a climate where you can have a table outdoors. I just couldn't imagine me trying to play snooker in my backyard in January when it's -25C and there's 2ft of snow on the table.

Good luck finding something to keep the insects off

    Cheers,

for the insects part~~ i think the snooker dude was saying that if the cloth cant breathe
then insect might breed there or something

I've been using a bedcloth for my Pool table and I dont think you can apply that to a snooker table . Or maybe a few i.e 2/3 old bedclothes might to do the job

not the best option i suppose but easily the cheapest
