Refurb on site?

Is it possible to do a full proper professional refurb of a table on site or do they have to be taken away to do the job properly? I mean the real job, not a coat of brown paint and a new cloth!

No real reason for asking except idle curiosity.

Not possible. legs and rails require stripping and sanding. A messy and time consuming job. A spray finish is required which requires a spray booth. so no not advisable.
