  • Woodworm

Has anybody had any experience of woodworm in a table? I haven't got a problem but there seems to be plenty of woodworm about out here so I thought I would ask.

You have to treat all wood worm in the building Phil and as a precaution treat the table too , you can get woodworm treatment and just paint it on .
I have seen plenty of old tables with woodworm , and they attack any type of wood even oak .
you can get a specialist firm in to to spray it all . but doing it youreself will save money , unless you can get some low price labour in the village .

I think the best thing to do then is probably wait until the room is finished then get every room on every floor sprayed with the necessary bug killer whilst there is nobody in. Then during an empty week, however often recommended, get the procedure repeated. With wooden beams in the barn conversion etc. it would be folly not to!
