  • Finish on tables

My table was fully refurbished a few years ago by Riley. The wood is finished in a very nice satin finish. Does anybody know what this is. How easy is it to apply?

I want to refinish a piano and that satin finish would look really good but I want to know what it is and if I can hope to apply it myself.

nearest thing is Ronseal satin coat . Riley sprayed the polish on you have to apply with a very fine pure Bristle Brush . unless you have a spray kit .

better the Brush the better the finish , pure Hog Bristle brush is best to use . and they use chinese hog bristle in them so you are in the right place to get them Phil.

sand between each coat getting finer sand paper , to last coat , then option of wire wool to flatten down then beeswax and buff up

I had thought about buying a little airless spray gun. Would that do the job?
