Also remember to vac the nets and wipe the pocket rails down or your balls will soon be covered in green bits from brushing - ours never get done and furry cue balls are very off-putting!.. Pet hate of mine.
I think furry cue balls sound cute. Certainly unusual.

So.... If.... Ahem.... Someone did use a hoover against the advice of forum members and accidentally did lift some filler.
er.... What would be the best filler to use to repair the damage?

A Hoover or a cheap low suction vacuum? Probably not the latter as that wouldn't lift the filler at all.

Well seeing as you have to take the cloth off to do it, maybe get the fitters to do it before refitting it, or were you hoping to do that yourself ??

It's right on the edge in the middle of the black cushion. I took the cushion off the other day to see how easy it was.

                  It wasn't too bad.

I'm going to try to fill it this friday. I've got the day off work.

I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm just worried about having a Father Ted moment.

just thinking, it may not be filler but the accumulation of chalk dust under the cloth, can you feel the joints anywhere on the table?

It's definitely filler. I pulled up a bit of the cloth and removed the filler and it left a hole.

I used normal filler in the end.

And this is the hole. This is before the repair.
