I've had a quick look through the last few pages, but haven't found anything about maintaining American tables.
I'm used to maintaining napped cloth, but I've never dealt with American/billiard cloth before.
I've heard/seen varying methods, including a vigorous wipe in small circular motions with a damp, soapy cloth. The idea sounds bizarre to me, since it would destroy a snooker baize.
At the moment I'm just dragging a damp tea towel lightly over the surface to remove the dust, and then brushing the tables, north to south, as you would a napped cloth.
Can anyone could suggest some methods or products (table cleaning spray, etc?
