Table Setting Out

Can anyone point me in the direction of setting out details for a 9ft snooker table.
The so called "professional fitters" that assembled our table have managed to mark the D 440mm from the side cushion to the yellow spot and 390mm from the opposite side cushion to the brown spot. They are coming back to replace the cloth and hopefully set out the table correctly - I would rather that I specify the dimensions to ensure they are correct.
Also are setting out dimensions taken from the edge of the slate or from the edge of the cushion?
Finally they have put circular black stickers on for the colour positons, are these any good, or would we be better marking the positions with something else?

Be careful, one site is measured from the edge of the slate, where the other (and the WPBSA Rules) are from the face of the cushions, i.e. the playing area.

Playing area is 11ft 8½in x 5ft 10in (3569mm x 1778mm)
Baulk line - 29in (737mm) [1/5L]
D radius - 11½in (292mm) [1/6W]
Black spot -12¾in (324mm) [1/11L]

I personally do not like sticky spots as the glue can affect the cloth, the spot themselves can make balls jump, and the spot plastic can divot and again make balls jump.
Just mark with a clear marker.
Clubs may like spots as they can help preserve the spot area and extend the cloth life.
