Rubber to wood cushions

I used Bostick contact adhesive on mine; far from the best or most expensive out there, a single tube was enough for all 6 cushions and it stuck well. Although being cheaper stuff it needed help, so it was all clamped overnight until dry. Certainly strong enough to be able to cut, rasp & sand the ends to shape.

I do not know, respect is due.
unless you are useing low cost canvas backed Chinese rubber then that stuff sticks much better and i do re-cover over that on the same day .
Northern rubber has no canvas backing , so you should always clean old blocks off and scratch sand the back of the new Northern rubber to give a better key for the glue to adhere to .

I have never heard of anything else being used. Geoff will probably be able to answer.

Rubber to wood cushions
Can anyone tell me is there a alternative to contact adhesive for sticking the rubber to the cushions timber.
As a diy job I need a bit of time to let it set.
As it too easy to make a mess of it on a instant contact glue if your not a professional billiard table fitter.
