    With 150 and 100 watt bulbs disappearing, what energy saving bulbs do people recommend to replace these.

      The lights on all our club tables have just been changed to eco and they're dreadful.It takes about five minutes before they warm up to bright,Ronnie would've cleared up by then

        Thats the problem with energy saving bulbs, the warm up time. Theyre fine after about 5 minutes though. I was watching a program on BBC2 recently where a pub replaced all thier bulbs with, i think 6W eco ones, above the pool tables. They didn't like the colour so they painted them with cream paint. Don't know if thats reccomended though!

          we had the lighting changed at our club.they took off the shades and put 12 trulite tube lights at 6ft height from the table,they are amazing.
          RIP NOEL, A TRUE TSF LEGEND.
