I'm going to just say stop.

Other than your elbow, you shouldn't move any other part of your body. Also, I highly doubt that your shoulder movement is involuntary.

    How to stop?

    1. Watch any professional snooker player. Do they move their shoulder?
    2. Practice long straight blues, shoulder movement will cause really poor accuracy.

Just remember, the shoulder is a ball in a cup and is capable of numerous degrees of rotation/movement. It won't help your game if your shoulder is involved.

To stop this push your bridge arm shoulder out as far as you can (but stay comfortable). This will have the effect of raising your grip arm shoulder. Try and get your bridge arm shoulder over as far as you can to your cheek which will also promote stillness on the shot.

Also, ensure you have a stable stance with at least 18in between the heels and you keep your grip light and not too tight.
