  • Tips for how to practice?

May be an odd question, but me and a good friend play probably 4-5 hours per week, but all we do is play games. Generally I win 5-0 or he wins 5-0 (which is another issue....)

We're at a similar level, with him probably a bit better than me, however is there things we should do instead of purely playing games? 'Drills' or something.

We sometimes try and clear the colours, or put out 10 reds and see how many we can pot in 2 mins - all of them mostly.

    Any ideas though?

    Thanks in advance

A lot of people do the line up (see link below)
If your still really just learning the game, then "speed" potting isn't really the ideal method of improving

Thanks for the reply. I love snooker, and have been playing for ages. Have decided recently to get better though

I know what to do, but can't do it, if that makes sense. Might look into coaching
