  • Calling all snooker enthusiasts in East London...

    Hello guys,
if you live in east london or at least within london but dont mind traveling to The famous Romford snooker Club, you might find this thread quite interesting or useful.

Tomorrow we are gona have a group coaching session in the Romford snooker club, Coaching will be provided by Del Smith (he was appointed by world snooker as the head coach of the cue zone in many occassions for many televised events like UK championship 2002, world championship 2011, he is a grade A coach and a professional player). He also coached Sean o Sullivan to the England national team.

For group coaching, the entry fee is only £10 that includes the table. Del will go arround every table and help you with any issues you want him to help you or if he spots any flaw in your game he will correct you.

Its not a one to one coaching session but if you want to meet other local players, want to socialise with them then you will definitely have a great time.

if you want to find out more about this event or how to get there you can phone him
07946-801 278, just mention you came to know abou this from snookerforum.

he will bring some hand crafted cues which i wana buy, so if you want a hand crafted cue for less or a replica cue made with real woods and veneers he is the guy you should talk to.

    Cheers.

Yea i still go there every week, its more of a socialising event for snooker people, coaching wise it is not as intense as one to one sessions with Del, but you still receice good tips on your game and you compete with other players in practice routines rather than playing matches, but at the end of the sessions you play a 10 reds frame as well. the whole group coaching session is 2 hours long so really value and fun for £10.
