  • could not sleep well on night before next day's match

Do you experience nervousness as such?
I always do not sleep well on the night before a match, no matter big or small.
Any suggetions how i can improve it?

Reframe it. Try to think of it as excitement rather than nervousness.
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

As a junior too use to wait ages for a cubical in the mens only to find there was on toilet paper and come out to find no soap
I see the same thing at every comp were there are lots of freshers. I think some people are better than others dealing with nerves but nothing like experience and lots of practice on the table to help.

I would often have the shakes at the table but that would settle quickly.
Never not been able to sleep the night before, so my advice for that - drugs
seriously though, there are some other threads about nerves and nervousness, have a search and you will probably find them.
nervousness - due to excitement is adrenaline and is very natural - dealing with/harnessing it, is the key
        all the best
        Up the TSF! :snooker:
