It's hard to pot balls with a Chimpanzee tea party going on in your head

I make a mess of it in fairness and my phone runs out of memory before the end... If memory serves I may have missed the very last black being silly?
      Nice recovery on the green.

      • Kinda highlights my problem with snooker... Distractions everywhere... my concentration levels aren't what they used to be.

        • Might be an impossible question to answer, but all the really really good players on here how close did you come to being a pro, you all must have thought about it.

            Four attempts at it...

            57 (kick)
            32
            35
            84

only the 35 is on film...

had to delete the other two to create space and my little girl forgot to film on the last one and was playing peppa pig...

My 9 year old did 13

                    Ok... another 4 goes today.

                    90 (chipped the white), 37, 51 82

The challenge is how devastatingly tired it makes you and I am battered...

                    uploading the 82 to youtube

That's exactly what it does to me. Destroys me. And once you miss one, it's hard to focus properly for the first 30 lol

                      • I tried this today for the first time in a while, and I agree with what has been said, trying to concentrate is the hardest part, I was losing count all the time lol, especially now I'm trying to use a cush as much as I can, it fair takes it out of me lol. I can feel trying to do 100 is going to be my new obsession , it was the line up, but I think it will be worth it and will take my game up a couple of levels if I ever acheive it. 38 was the best I did today but the greatest number of them (maybe thirty?) were using a cushion, so now I have a target to go at.
One more thing I have to know about this routine, do you have to play from one side of the black to the other all the time,as I was just stunning on and off the bottom cush and staying on the same side until I didn't have position then going to the other side and maybe potting six or seven or whatever on that side on and off the cush etc, is this ok?

I was just trying to keep going playing any shot...

my pockets are tighter than average though... When I was younger I'd do this on a club table with buckets.

                          • I was on a club table with buckets, I have done much more when just playing any shot to keep going , but I find it much more rewarding trying to use the cush, most of the time if I got going I would break down between 15-25 and it was just total lack of concentration and I played a poor shot. I'm hoping this routine will help me concentrate much better as a whole during a game.

your hooked. thats good cus the rewards are exciting. you can play as many stuns off the back cush as you like. my record in 90 form one side of the table on high blacks.
note the angles the white is coming off the black and how offen the the sweet spots on the cb

                              • Tell you what it showed me straight away. That I dont really know how to keep hold of the cueball, doing the line up lets you get away with murder ,positionally , as really until there are only a few reds left you are unlucky not to land ok on one. This routine punishes you near enough straight away for being sloppy, wish I had mixed this with the line up much more.
P.s. Ninety from one side, that's incredible, great stuff.
